Computer Weekly : Alquist is Best Technology Innovation Winner  :  Friday 28 February 2014


Alquist has won the Computer Weekly European User Award for Best Technology Innovation for Networking 2014. Judge Clive Longbottom, founder of Quocirca, said: "As equipment densities in datacentres increases, the possibility of hotspots occuring grows. The need is for more granular measurement; the problem is that this becomes expensive and takes up more space and energy in the data centre itself.  Alquist's approach sounds truly innovative." Judge Jennifer Scott, Networking Editor for Computer Weekly, said "The Alquist solution does seem genuinely unique and has a hugely practical use that could really aid datacentre management"
